1 tsp potato seasoning

Directions
Everybody loves French fries. But they are so unhealthy… Here we’d like to offer you a healthier version. For this recipe we recommend Desiree potatoes.
Desiree potatoes have a firm, creamy tasting flesh making them ideal for smooth mash or being cooked in a sauce.
Boiling time depends on what type of potatoes you choose, between 5-10 minutes from the moment it starts boiling. They have to be still firm when removed from heat.
If “potato seasoning” is not available it can be replaced by 2 tbs of cornmeal, or any seasoning you’d prefer.

Peal the potatoes and cut in wedges. Place in a pot and cover with water. Add the salt. On high heat bring to boil. Allow to boil for 7 min. |

Preheat oven to 200°C . Remove from heat and strain the water. Place them in a bowl and add the seasoning and the oil. Gently combine till all potatoes are evenly coated. |

Place them on a nonstick tray and bake in the oven until golden. |
